Counting Bears et al

I am only going to count big things, because there are so many birds even I can't possibly catch them all to identify them....

May 30 black bear north of Mosquito Creek on the Icefields Parkway

May 31 Two separate black bears, Yellowhead Hiway north from Jaspar to Prince George

June 1 A five black bear day on Hiway 97 North from Prince George to Chetwynd. Two on the left side, Two on the right side, and one scampering across the road in front of us.

June 3 Mom and three cubs, mile 200, Alaska Hiway, BC

June 9 Mom and two grizzly cubs and a lonely grizzly between Haines Junction and Tok

June 10 A Moose crossing the road, and another moose munching down on a power line easement, between Tok and the North Pole

Denali: I ran out of toes to count all the wildlife, so Mom did it for me on her blog.

June 20 Moose in a pond in Anchorage

June 21 Moose on the trail, right in front of my Nose! in Anchorage on the Tony Knowles coastal trail. Yikes!

June 23 Mom had to count all the wildlife in Kenai Fiords, cause I didn't get to go!

June 24 Baby black bear in a tree near Exit Glacier

June 25 Two moose on the way from Seward to Homer; one in the trees and one in a pond

June 28 A two moose day, one on the Ninilchik River and the other grazing on the side of the Sterling Hiway.

June 30 Bald Eagles, lots of them, on the mud flats of Turnagain Arm

July 1 Moose in the marsh, Potters Marsh, on Seward Highway

July 2 Black bear cub, Old Glenn Highway. SOOOO cute

July 9 Elk peeking at Mom on the Klondike highway

July 10 three trumpeter swans and a Bald eagle, Haines Highway

July 12 Mountain goats on White Pass near Skagway

July 14 Eagle flying overhead, Alaska Highway

July 15 Mom and 2 cubs, another black bear, and a moose in a pond, Cassiar Highway

July 16 Grizzly, looking kind of skinny, and a red fox, Cassiar Highway

July 17 Two Black Bears, Cassiar Highway

July 18 One Black Bear, Yellowhead Highway

July 20 Two deer, Sea to Sky Highway

July 21 A spike deer in velvet, Sea to Sky Highway
